Getting started

What Is Park Hopper at Disney World?

Short answer

Park Hopper is a ticket benefit that lets you visit more than one Walt Disney World theme park on the same day.

Disney currently allows eligible guests to enter another park during operating hours after entering their first park, subject to capacity and any admission-specific reservation rules.

How it works

Your ticket or Annual Pass must include hopping. Travel between parks, security and walking still use real time. Check Disney’s current Park Hopper rules because capacity and admission requirements can change.

What families need to know

Hopping adds flexibility, but every move interrupts the day. Bags, strollers, tired children and transport can make a simple-looking transfer feel much bigger.

Common confusion

Park Hopper gives permission to visit another park; it does not make transport instant or guarantee access when a park reaches capacity. See our fuller guide to whether your family should Park Hop.
