Who we are
Wesley Mullett, trading as Packed4Disney, is the controller responsible for the personal information described in this policy.
For privacy questions or requests, email hello@packed4disney.com.
What this policy covers
This policy applies to packed4disney.com, including the public website, Help Centre, Date Finder, requested Date Finder email reports, Packed4Disney’s first-party Crowd Calendar request flow and the existing public Crowd Calendar signup provided through Kit during its transition.
It does not describe all processing within the logged-in planning app at app.packed4disney.com. The app handles broader account and trip-planning information and will be covered by a separate privacy notice.
Information we collect
Depending on how you use the public website, we may process:
- the planning year and answers you give to the six Date Finder questions;
- your email address and, if you provide it, your first name when you request a Date Finder report;
- a minimal record of a Date Finder report or first-party Crowd Calendar request, such as identification of the relevant free tool, first and most recent qualifying free-tool attribution where applicable, and the time of the latest request;
- whether you chose to receive marketing email and records needed to evidence or withdraw that choice, including the time, source and wording version associated with an explicit choice where applicable;
- your email address when you request the Crowd Calendar through Packed4Disney’s first-party form or the existing Kit-hosted form; and
- technical request information used to deliver, secure and maintain the site, such as request time, requested page, IP address, device or browser information and diagnostic data made available by our hosting provider.
The Date Finder and first-party Crowd Calendar forms also contain a hidden anti-spam field. It helps identify automated submissions and is not intended for visitors to complete.
How we use your information
| Purpose | Lawful basis |
|---|---|
| Provide the free on-screen Date Finder result you request. | Our legitimate interests in operating a useful free Disney-planning service and responding to your voluntary use of it. |
| Send the Date Finder report or Crowd Calendar you request and maintain the minimal operational record needed to manage repeat requests and consistent contact preferences. | Our legitimate interests in providing and operating the free service you specifically asked us to use. |
| Send ongoing Packed4Disney planning and marketing emails after you opt in. | Your consent. |
| Operate, secure, debug and maintain the website and server-side services. | Our legitimate interests in running a reliable and secure website. |
| Respond when you contact us. | Our legitimate interests in answering enquiries and supporting visitors. |
Where we rely on legitimate interests, we consider the purpose, necessity and effect on visitors. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests; see Your rights.
Date Finder and personalised recommendations
The Date Finder uses the answers you provide to compare potential travel periods against factors such as your availability, crowd preferences, weather preferences and other planning priorities.
The recommendations are planning guidance, not guaranteed outcomes. This process does not make decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects for you.
Packed4Disney does not maintain a separate long-term database of your Date Finder answers. They are processed to generate the on-screen recommendations and, when requested, your report content. The minimal contact record described below does not contain your six answers, personalised recommendations, ranking or scoring data, candidate date windows, full report contents, child information, family profile information, child heights or trip itinerary.
Email reports, resources and request records
If you ask for a Date Finder report, we send your email address, optional first name and freshly generated report to Brevo so it can deliver the email. If you use Packed4Disney’s first-party Crowd Calendar form, we send your email address and the requested Crowd Calendar link to Brevo for transactional delivery. You may also receive immediate on-screen access to the Crowd Calendar.
Brevo may maintain a minimal contact and request record containing your email address, the relevant free-tool attribution, the time of your latest Date Finder report or Crowd Calendar request, your marketing-consent status and, where applicable, records of consent, withdrawal or suppression. A Date Finder record may also contain the optional first name you provided for that report.
We use this minimal record to operate the requested service, manage repeat requests consistently, distinguish resource requests from marketing subscriptions, and avoid duplicate or contradictory contact preferences. It does not contain Date Finder questionnaire answers or recommendations, family or child details, Height Checker data, trip itineraries, unrelated browsing history, cross-tool browser identity, or Google Drive interaction history.
Brevo may also keep transactional delivery records, including the recipient, delivery events and an email preview. We use these records only as reasonably needed for delivery, troubleshooting, abuse prevention, security and short-term support.
Marketing emails
We send ongoing Packed4Disney planning and marketing emails only when you have opted in. The marketing checkboxes on the Date Finder and first-party Crowd Calendar forms are separate, optional and unchecked by default. You can receive the report or Crowd Calendar you requested without joining a marketing list.
Where you opt in, we may retain the time, source and wording version associated with that choice so we can manage and demonstrate your preferences accurately.
You can withdraw consent at any time by using the unsubscribe link in a marketing email or emailing hello@packed4disney.com. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that was lawful before withdrawal or prevent you from requesting a future transactional report or resource. A later request does not restore consent or re-subscribe you to marketing.
Crowd Calendar and the provider transition
During the Crowd Calendar transition, the route you use determines which provider handles your request. Existing Crowd Calendar links may still open the Kit-hosted form. Kit processes the email address submitted there for resource delivery and any marketing email covered by the choice presented on that form, and may process delivery, subscription and engagement information.
Where you use Packed4Disney’s first-party Crowd Calendar form, Brevo sends the requested resource email and may maintain the minimal contact and request record described above. Requesting the Crowd Calendar is not marketing consent. Marketing remains a separate, explicit and optional choice that is unchecked by default.
You can unsubscribe from marketing at any time using the link in a marketing email. The Kit-hosted page, Google Drive resource and any other external destination also operate under their own privacy information.
Website analytics and technical information
We use Netlify’s server-side web analytics to understand aggregate website usage. It is based on server and content-delivery-network request data rather than a client-side tracking script. Netlify states that this analytics service does not use cookies or personally identifying analytics information.
Netlify also processes technical information needed to host the site, run server-side Functions, protect the service and provide operational logs. Packed4Disney does not maintain a separate long-term archive of Netlify operational or Function logs.
Who we share information with
We use the following services where needed:
- Netlify — website hosting, content delivery, server-side Functions, operational logs and server-side web analytics;
- Brevo — requested Date Finder report and first-party Crowd Calendar delivery, the minimal contact and request records associated with those services, and separate marketing lists for people who explicitly opt in;
- Kit — the existing public Crowd Calendar signup, resource delivery and related email during the transition; and
- Google Fonts — font files requested by your browser when pages load.
We do not sell your personal information.
International transfers
Some service providers may process information outside the UK. Where this involves a restricted transfer, we rely on appropriate contractual or other recognised safeguards where required, such as adequacy arrangements or approved contractual protections. You may contact us if you would like more information about the safeguards relevant to your information.
How long we keep information
- Date Finder answers: we do not maintain a separate long-term database of the answers. They are processed to produce the result and requested report.
- Transactional delivery records: we aim to keep delivery and email-log data for no longer than approximately 90 days where provider settings allow. We periodically review those settings. Brevo’s provider default may retain transactional logs and email previews for longer unless a shorter retention period is configured.
- Free-tool contact and request records: we keep minimal Date Finder and Crowd Calendar contact and request information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide and manage the requested service, maintain consistent contact preferences, manage consent or withdrawal, and meet applicable obligations.
- Marketing contacts: we keep contact information while you remain subscribed and it remains relevant to ongoing email marketing.
- Unsubscribe and consent records: after an unsubscribe, we stop active marketing and keep only the minimum suppression, consent and withdrawal records reasonably needed to honour your choice and demonstrate compliance.
- Operational records: Netlify retains operational and Function information according to the relevant service settings. Packed4Disney does not keep a separate long-term archive of those logs.
We review information periodically and delete or anonymise it when it is no longer reasonably needed, subject to records that must be retained for legal, security or compliance purposes.
Cookies and similar technologies
At the date of this policy, we did not identify non-essential analytics or marketing cookies set by the Packed4Disney public website. Netlify Web Analytics operates from server/CDN request information rather than a client-side analytics cookie.
We do not use raw email in local storage, recognition cookies, cross-subdomain contact tokens, browser CRM identity or automatic cross-tool email prefill for these public free tools.
External sites you choose to visit may use their own cookies or similar technologies. If we introduce tools that change how the public site uses cookies or similar technologies, we will update this information and request consent where required.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances and the lawful basis involved, UK data-protection law may give you rights to:
- ask for access to your personal information;
- ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete information;
- ask for erasure or restriction of processing;
- object to processing based on legitimate interests;
- receive certain information in a portable format where the right applies; and
- withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent.
You have an absolute right to object to direct marketing. Use the unsubscribe link in an email or contact hello@packed4disney.com.
These rights are not all absolute, and an exemption may apply in some circumstances. We may need to confirm your identity before completing a request.
Children
Packed4Disney’s public website and Date Finder are intended for adults planning family trips. The Date Finder does not ask children to submit their own personal information.
Security
We use proportionate technical and organisational measures intended to protect personal information. No internet service can guarantee absolute security, but we limit access and use service providers and server-side controls appropriate to the public website.
External links
The site links to services and destinations including Kit, Google Drive, Etsy, Instagram, TikTok and the Packed4Disney planning app. Following an external link means that service’s own privacy practices apply. An outbound link does not mean every destination processes information for Packed4Disney.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our services, providers or legal obligations change. The date at the top shows when it was last updated.
